Sat, 3 Oct 2026 to Mon, 2 Nov 2026, counting both ends.

No public holidays fall inside this range.

How it works

  1. 1Pick a start and finish date, or a start date and a number of working days to add.
  2. 2Choose the country whose public holidays apply, and adjust the working week if yours is not Monday to Friday.
  3. 3The count includes both the start and finish date. A holiday that falls on a weekend is not deducted twice.
  4. 4Every holiday taken out is listed by name, so you can check it against your own calendar.

Common questions

Are both the start and finish date counted?
Yes. A task running Monday to Friday is five working days, not four. This matches how scheduling tools report duration.
Which countries are supported?
Countries whose national holidays follow the Gregorian calendar or Easter. Holidays that depend on lunar observation, such as Eid or Diwali, are deliberately left out rather than approximated — a date that is nearly right is worse than none in a schedule.
Why do some holidays say "substitute day"?
In the UK and several other countries, a fixed-date holiday landing on a weekend is observed on the next working day instead. The calculator applies that rule and labels the moved day.
Can I use a six-day or four-day week?
Yes. Toggle any day in the working week control. The holiday deduction follows whichever days you mark as working.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The whole calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored.

Working out dates across a whole plan, not one pair?

PlanView reads your schedule file and applies the same working-day arithmetic to every task, then tells you which ones are late as of the plan’s data date.
