Markdown to Word or PDF

Turn notes or AI output into a properly formatted document.

The Word download is Word’s own HTML format rather than a true .docx — Word, Pages and LibreOffice all open and edit it, with the formatting intact.

How it works

  1. 1Paste markdown on the left — notes, meeting minutes, or output from an AI assistant.
  2. 2The document builds on the right as you type. Headings, tables, lists, quotes and code blocks all render.
  3. 3Save it as a PDF through your browser’s print dialog, or download a file that opens in Word for further editing.
  4. 4Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, which matters when the notes contain real names.

Common questions

Is the Word file a real .docx?
No, and the tool does not claim it is. It is Word’s own HTML format with a .doc extension, which Word, Pages and LibreOffice all open and edit with the formatting intact. A genuine .docx is a zip archive and would mean bundling a zip writer for this one feature.
How is the PDF produced?
Through your browser’s print dialog — choose Save as PDF as the destination. That is why there is no watermark and no account.
Which markdown features are supported?
CommonMark plus GitHub extensions: headings, bold and italic, ordered and unordered lists, links, block quotes, code blocks, horizontal rules, strikethrough, task lists and pipe tables.
Why would I want this?
Most AI assistants answer in markdown, and most stakeholders want a document. Pasting raw markdown into an email means sending someone a wall of hashes and asterisks.
Is my text stored?
No. It stays in the page and is gone when you close the tab.
